Child Safeguarding Policy
Last updated: [add date before publishing]
UpSkills Learning has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of abuse, exploitation or neglect of children and vulnerable young people in connection with our programs, staff, volunteers and partners.
Our commitment
Every person engaged by UpSkills Learning — staff, volunteers, consultants and partners — is expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct around children at all times.
Consent and imagery
We obtain informed consent from a parent, guardian or responsible authority before photographing, filming or publicly identifying any child, and we never publish information that could put a child at risk.
Reporting concerns
Anyone with a safeguarding concern involving our programs can report it confidentially to info@upskillslearning.org. All reports are taken seriously and handled promptly and confidentially.
Screening and training
Staff and volunteers working directly with children undergo screening and safeguarding training appropriate to their role.
This policy is a template and should be reviewed by qualified safeguarding and legal experts before publication.
